Quality Control
FRP quality problems are invisible at delivery and expensive at year three. Our QC system is designed around that fact — controlling the inputs and the process, because the finished panel cannot be non-destructively re-tested for resin type after it ships.
Incoming materials
- Resin: every delivery verified against specification (acid value, viscosity, gel time) before release to production; resin lots traceable to panel batches
- Glass: roving and mat certificates checked; moisture control on storage
- Additives and pigments: per-batch records; UV package verified per formulation
In-process control
- Glass content: monitored per batch against the panel specification (min. 25 % molded, min. 35 % bearing direction pultruded)
- Cure verification: barcol hardness checks at defined intervals
- Dimensional: mesh, depth and weight checked per production run against the nominal table
Panel verification
- Panel-specific load tables prepared and signed for every quotation and order configuration
- Periodic full-panel load testing correlating production panels to the published tables
- Grit adhesion and COF checks on gritted-surface production
Pre-shipment
- Visual inspection 100 %; dimensional sampling 10 %; weight sampling 5 %
- Third-party inspection (SGS, BV or your nominated agency) available before shipment — witnessed sampling, load testing and documentation review
- Documentation pack: mill certificates, load table, chemical confirmation, packing list with panel numbering
